The 2024 MotoTrax Alpha, is the next generation of the MotoTrax platform.
In 2023 we re-designed the track rails. We have increased the overall rail length by 2" and the overall track contact by 4". The updated rail tip radius increases the attack angle by 8 degrees making the Alpha more aggressive when climbing in deep snow and steep terrain.
We've redesigned the side panels moving the swing-arm mount 2" closer to the driveshaft to accommodate for the updated geometry and maintain our high-performance suspension kinematics. The new forward swing-arm mounting position reduces track tension changes as the suspension goes through its travel. Resulting in a freer spinning track, more horsepower transferred to the ground, and consistent suspension action throughout the entire range of travel.
The primary suspension is handled by our custom-tuned Fox Rc2 Shock with the piggyback reservoir having 24 clicks of high & low-speed compression and 15 clicks of rebound adjustability. All of this is finished off with the Fox Factory Kashima Coating.
A huge upgrade to our secondary IDS suspension is the addition of the Öhlins TTX AM air shock providing superior rail dampening control. Three quick-adjust settings allow you to select the optimal ride mode for the conditions.
A totally redesigned axel block assembly allows for more precise track tensioning and improved track clearance.
The RAD Dampener provides progressive support through the 15 degrees of lateral articulation.
Our new Ski Base Adapter moved the ski base mount forward one inch which greatly improves ski control and steering precision on hard-pack snow.
